KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Lady Vols received a No. 2 seed in the Oklahoma City bracket when NCAA tournament invitations were announced on Monday night, meaning Tennessee could face defending national champion and overall No. 1 seed Baylor for a trip to the Final Four.
The Lady Vols have lost five straight games to Baylor, including twice in the last three NCAA tournaments.
Holly Warlick's team will host No. 15 seed Oral Roberts in their NCAA opener on Saturday at 1:30 PM.
No. 7 seed Syracuse will play No. 10 seed Creighton in the other Knoxville first round game.
The winners will play in Knoxville on Monday night in the second round.
