KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Florence, South Carolina TV station says Tyler Summitt may be a candidate for a head coaching position at Coastal Carolina.
WPDE-TV says the school has spoken with Summitt.
It's not known whether the 22-year old son of coaching legend Pat Summitt has been asked to formally interview for the Lady Chanticleers' opening.
In a text message to WATE 6 Sports on Wednesday night, Summitt said he can not confirm or deny the report.
Summitt is in his first season as an assistant coach at Marquette.
