OLIVER SPRINGS (WATE) - The Oliver Springs assistant principal arrested for DUI earlier in the week has been reassigned from her duties.
Donna Renee Moore, 45, was arrested Tuesday after police received a complaint that she arrived drunk at a local skating rink to pick up her daughter.
Upon arrival, police found Moore appeared to be intoxicated and found two partially-filled airplane bottles of vodka in her purse.
She was arrested and booked at the Anderson County Jail.
On Friday, Roane
County School Superintendent Gary Aytes said Moore had been transferred to a non-administrative position at Midtown Education Center for the rest of the year.
She also must complete a professional development plan.
