MANSFIELD, Ohio (WATE) - A man from Ohio was arrested in connection with a rash of bomb threats that prompted courthouse evacuations in Tennessee and around the country.

The FBI says Lonny Bristow was arrested this week in Mansfield, Ohio and charged with making threats over the telephone.

In November, more than 20 East Tennessee courthouse had to be evacuated after each one received a bomb threat.

The bureau says an investigation by the Knoxville FBI office traced the calls to a phone card bought at a Walmart in Ohio.

Courthouses in five states stretching all the way to Washington and Oregon received the calls.
