"Operation Spring Cleaning" nets 63 indictments in Campbell County drug roundup

JACKSBORO (WATE) - A large scale drug bust in Campbell County, dubbed "Operation Spring Cleaning," has yielded 63 indictments against drug offenders.

Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins said the bust is the largest the county has seen in a decade.

The sheriff says the county is in the process of rounding up the suspects named in the indictments.

So far, he said, they have seized more than $500,000 in money and property, including 28 vehicles, prescription drugs, cocaine and marijuana.

Goins said the indictments were the result of a year-long investigation.

No other details about the investigation or the arrests have been released.
