Deputies walk in on suspect flushing marijuana down the toilet

ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - Narcotics investigators in Hawkins County caught a suspect red-handed trying to dispose of illegal drugs Tuesday.

Johnny Stalled, 37, and Desera Allen, 24, were arrested at a home in Church Hill.

Deputies say they were serving a warrant at the pair's home and when they walked in, they saw Stalled trying to flush a pound and a half of marijuana down a toilet.

Other drugs and paraphernalia were also found in the home, including bath salts.

Both were charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Stall and was also charged with destruction or tampering with evidence.

Both Stalled and Allen are being held without bond.
