KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One man is taken to the hospital Saturday night after a stabbing in Knoxville.

The call came in a little after 10:30 p.m. KPD officers found Jeffery McCrary, 47, with a stab wound to his stomach near the railroad tracks at Cooper Street and Depot Avenue.

After interviewing witnesses, police discovered that the injured homeless man was the aggressor in a fight with another homeless man, Mark Borden, 43.

McCrary was taken to the hospital and is not pressing charges.
