Man arrested for making bomb threat on Knoxville bank

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville man has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat on a bank Thursday.

According to the Knoxville Police Department, a bomb threat was made to the manager of Regions Bank located on North Broadway around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

The bomb squad investigated the complaint, but no dangerous devices were found inside.

Police have now arrested Ted Owens Neuenschwander, 68, of Knoxville for assault. Investigators say there may be more charges.
