KCSO arrests man connected to stabbing


FARRAGUT (WATE) - Officials arrested the suspect accused of stabbing a man in front of his house on Saturday afternoon, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 12:40 p.m. on Black Road.

29-year-old Jonathan Daniel Williamson, who lives on the 11000 block of Black Road, was stabbed in front of his home following an altercation with an acquaintance.

Neighbors told authorities they heard arguing, tires squealing, and then saw Williamson in the road with a bloody face.  He was transported to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Charles Thomas Reninger, 43, was taken into custody without incident at his home on North Campbell Station Road around 7:45 p.m.
