KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Security camera images of a masked man holding a large rifle while demanding money at a Knox County convenience store were released Friday. Sheriff's investigators hope the photos will help them find the robber.

Officers say the man entered Weigel's, 600 Ebenezer Road in West Knox County, around 9:40 p.m. on March 14.

After demanding money from the cash register the robber fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10"-6'0" with a thin build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a ski mask pulled over his face.

Anyone with information about the robbery or suspect is asked to call (865) 215-2243.
