It's Relay Time in East Tennessee! The American Cancer Society hosts its signature fundraiser across our area with Relay for Life events taking place throughout the spring and summer months.
Last year, the combined effort of volunteers at 18 community Relay events raised over $1.7 million to help fund the fight against cancer. The stakes are high again this year as the overall goal for all our regional Relay for Life events is more than $1.8 million.
WATE is proud to be a regional sponsor of Relay for Life and will host at team at the Metro Knoxville event on June 13.
Thank you to Provision, Tennova, and Food City for supporting the Metro Knoxville Relay and others in East Tennessee.
