North Knoxville man shot during robbery


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A North Knoxville man was shot twice during a home invasion and robbery at his home.

Police received a call around 11 a.m. about a shooting at a home in the 3800 block of Fairmont Blvd.

After arriving at the scene, officers found Kaesan Delvin, 22, suffering from two gunshots.

Delvin told police that a black male with a red t-shirt pulled over his face knocked on the door and forced his way inside the house. He said he did not know the man.

When the suspect tried to steal his marijuana, Delvin fought back and was shot.

Delvin was taken to University of Tennessee Medical Center. His current condition is not known.
