KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A city program helped to restore what once was an eyesore in the 4th and Gill neighborhood.

The house located on the 600 block of Gill Avenue was vacant for years and damaged by fire in 2010.

Now, however, it is completely renovated.

Cheryl Ball and her husband along with another couple bought the house through the city's home-maker program.

Now they're putting it up for sale.

"The 4th and Gill neighborhood has been really great to us and really supportive as we've gone through this process. They've been so excited to see the transformation of this house, and we're so excited to offer it back as a viable place for a family to come live," said Ball.

The owners held an open house on Wednesday.
