SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A burglar hit a Sevierville cell phone store twice in one month, stealing more than $50,000 in merchandise.

The two separate incidents occurred at the Sevierville Sprint store located on the Parkway.

Sevierville police say the first burglary occurred on April 13, the second one on April 29. Both incidents happened just after 4 a.m.

During the second burglary the suspect was caught on tape. The footage shows a man wearing a black mask and gloves. Police say he is 6'1" and weighs 200 pounds.

On the first incident the suspect forced open a rear door. When he came back for a second time, he broke in through the store's front glass window. A board now covers the window.

The Sprint store is located in a shopping complex. Employees at other businesses in the center say they are surprised.

"It's crazy to think. That could have happened to any of us at anytime. Even when we were here, it's scary," says Tiffany Teaster, the manager of the Dollar General.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect or the burglary to call (865) 453-5507.
