Source: Summitt interviews at UT Chattanooga

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A source close to the situation confirmed Sunday night that Tyler Summitt has interviewed for the vacant women's basketball head coaching position at UT Chattanooga.

Summitt, the son of legendary Tennessee women's coach Pat Summitt, just completed his first season as an assistant coach at Marquette. The 22-year-old was a candidate for the Coastal Carolina women's head coaching job before former Wake Forest assistant, Jaida Williams, was hired in April.

UT Chattanooga recently hired longtime Tennessee administrator, David Blackburn, as athletics director.
