Baumgartner completes probation, paving way for state charges to be expunged

Baumgartner admitted his addiction to prescription painkillers in March of 2011.

He pleaded guilty to official misconduct in exchange for a two-year sentence and judicial diversion.

With the two years now passed and with no objection from prosecutors, Judge Jon Kerry Blackwood has now dismissed the case, allowing it to be expunged.

Baumgartner was also convicted in federal court and faces a six-month sentence.

A federal inmate database shows Baumgartner is not currently in custody.
