KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A new children's store is open for business in West Knoxville, but you may be shocked when you walk in and see who's behind the counter.

At Twig Children's Boutique in West Knoxville, you'll see the fashionable wife of University of Tennessee Head Basketball Coach Cuonzo Martin.

Roberta Martin is in the process of fulfilling a dream of her own - opening a children's clothing store.

Her inspiration is the couple's five-year-old daughter.

"I've just always enjoyed dressing her, and just saw what a unique opportunity for me to be able to do something that was fun," she said.

In the store, you'll find frills and stripes, following the latest fashion trends found in LA and NY.

"A continuing trend is not having the matchy-matchy clothing and we have some lines that do great with that. You buy any top, any bottom, throw on some jewelry and it looks really fun," Martin said.

From pops of color, to lavender flip flops, polka dots with stripes and shoes, books and bows, Twig has a little something for every girl through the tween years, with even more for boys next season.

But what about UT orange??

"Absolutely, certainly some unique spirit wear, so maybe a cheerleader outfit with a UT logo on it or orange worked in that may be perfect for gameday," Martin said.

You can find more about her new store on Facebook and Pinterest, and soon it'll have its own website, too.
