KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Demolition is underway at a homeless camp in Knoxville where three bodies turned up.

The discovery was made last month an old industrial site on Richards Street not far from Karm and the Salvation Army.

City officials told 6 News last week that the property owner, PSC Metals, had been notified of codes violations.

6 News cameras found heavy equipment digging through the old building today.

The three murder victims, 29-year-old Collin Colbert of Gatlingburg, Tenn., 29-year-old Ryan Gorney of Chicago, Ill., and 32-year-old Grace Standridge of Knoxville, Tenn., were homeless.

Two men and one woman were charged with one count each of second degree murder for the death of one of the victims found inside their tent.
