Son arrested after Morristown man is shot and killed

MORRISTOWN (WATE) - A Morristown man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries after a shooting Tuesday night.

Morristown police say Kenneth "Danny" Robertson, 52, was shot at his home on Jarnigan Avenue around 9:00 p.m.

Officers said Robertson was shot in the chest with a 9mm handgun. He was taken to Morristown Hamblen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His son, Daniel Robertson, 26, has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held in the Hamblen County Jail.
