SEYMOUR (WATE) - Five people are facing charges after an early morning meth lab bust in Seymour.

Crews were called to 608 Equestrian Circle in the Blount County section of Seymour just after 3:00 a.m. Monday for what was originally a robbery call.

Once officers arrived, they discovered an active meth lab.

The suspects all ran into the woods. Four were taken into custody shortly thereafter.

Two of the suspects had outstanding warrants for other counties. Another two were charged with manufacturing meth.

6 News cameras were rolling as one suspect was discovered hiding in some brush. He was subsequently arrested.

A fifth suspect was arrested about 7:45 a.m., just down the street from the home.

It appears they may have set up camp in the woods for several days based on the bags and blankets found scattered throughout.

The suspects say they were remodeling the house and they are not the homeowners.

Several grams of finished product were found at the scene and it appears they had been cooking within a few hours of the bust.

The house was put under quarantine early Monday morning.
