JAMESTOWN (WATE) - The people of Fentress County are joining together to help the victims of the Oklahoma tornado.

Organizers have already started collecting items. They're working with Shawnee Rescue Mission where tornado victims from both Moore and Shawnee, Okla. have been going for help.

Organizers said they need non-perishable food, can openers, diapers, work gloves, shovels and plastic storage boxes.

The donation drive continues through this Friday.

You can drop off your donations in Jamestown at Advance Imaging or the Fentress County Library.

Other drop-off locations include Clarkrange Baptist Church in Clarkrange and Tiffany's Salon in Grimsley.

Organizers plan to drive the donations to Oklahoma on Saturday.
