UT law school ranks in top 10 for efficiency

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law has landed atop a list of law school rankings.

U.S. News & World Report says the school offers the best education for the least money.

The news magazine determined the ranking by dividing the dollar amount spent per student in 2012 by the magazine's Best Law Schools 2014 ranking.

U of L's law school was No. 68 in the Best Law Schools poll and spent $655 per student for each point, putting it in the top spot for efficiency.

University of Tennessee-Knoxville was 61st in the Best Law Schools poll and eighth in the efficiency rankings, which came out May 30, while the University of Kentucky was 58th in the best schools and 10th in efficiency.
