Uncertainty surrounding Crossville fireworks ends

CROSSVILLE (WATE) – Crossville's July 4th fireworks show will go on after uncertainty surrounded the event's funding.

Crossville Mayor J.H. Graham said citizens were able to raise $10,000 for the fireworks show.

Previously, the city agreed to match $10,000 if the citizens raised it, for a total of $20,000.

The city is also providing $5,000 for activities.

The celebration at Centennial Park will include music, food, and games.

Activities will kick off at 10 a.m. on July 4th and the fireworks show will start at dusk.
