BULLS GAP (WATE) - Hawkins County deputies discovered a one-pot meth lab and meth making materials at a home in Bulls Gap.

On Wednesday night, deputies received a tip about a meth lab at a home on Northridge Circle.

Upon arrival, narcotics investigators spoke with Donald Martin Rife, 38, the homeowner.

While speaking with Rife, investigators noticed a bucket on the front porch. Upon closer inspection, they found a homemade hydrochloric acid generator, sulfuric acid, a mason job with a flammable liquid inside, and a one-pot meth lab inside a Gatorade bottle.

Inside the house, they found copious amounts of meth making materials, including aluminum foil, Coleman fuel, empty lithium battery packs, and empty pseudoephedrine packs.

They also found a loaded gun inside the house.

Rife was arrested and charged with initiating meth manufacture, possession of a firearm during a dangerous drug felony, and maintaining a home where drugs and made or housed.

Rife's live-in girlfriend, Jessica Daniels, 32, was found to have been aware of the meth making and had purchased some of the meth components.

She was arrested and charged with promoting meth manufacture and maintaining a home where drugs are made or housed.

Both were taken to Hawkins County Jail on $75,000 bonds.

The home was quarantined by narcotics investigators.
