KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knox County deputies say they busted a marijuana growing operation inside a house.

They uncovered the marijuana at an Idlewood Lane home just off of Westland Drive on Friday.

The sheriff's office said the set up included fans, grow lights and 229 plants.

They say the bust came after a month-long investigation.

Jeremy Welker is facing two counts of manufacture or sale of a controlled substance.

The 39-year-old is being held on a $16,000 bond.
