MARYVILLE (WATE) - Three men in Blount County have been arrested for promoting the manufacture of meth, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

The drug task force got a tip that people were attempting to buy pseudoephedrine and other items used to make meth at local businesses.

Investigators stopped the possible suspects' car for a traffic violation on Wilkinson Pike near Old Chilhowee Road.

Officials found pseudoephedrine and other items used to make meth inside the car.

The Blount County Sheriff's Office said 32-year-old Michael Hank Haven and 35-year-old Michael James Boling, both of Maryville, along with Stanley Bentley of Powell were all charged with promoting the manufacture of meth.

They are being held on a $50,000 bond. A court date has not been set yet.

One female was released with no charges.
