KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A large home in West Knox County went up in flames early Tuesday morning while its owners were out of town.

Firefighters found flames shooting through the roof of a home at 10817 Westland Drive around 12:30 a.m. Crews say 50 percent of the home was on fire.

Crews were able to put the fire out a short time later, but they were forced to return to the scene around 6:30 a.m. when neighbors reported the fire had rekindled.

Neighbors say the homeowner was out of town at the time of the fire.

No one was injured. The cause is under investigation.
