KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville woman is facing charges after breaking into her estranged husband's home and assaulting her mother-in-law with a crowbar.

Kelsie Valentine, 44, was arrested Saturday after using a crowbar to break into her husband's home.

She does not live at the home and had an order of protection against her, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

The woman's 69-year-old mother-in-law came home to see Valentine leaving the home. She tried to block her car to keep Valentine from leaving the scene.

The woman said Valentine got out of her car and assaulted the woman with crowbar while she was inside the car.
