WARTBURG (WATE) - A car crashed into a Morgan County home Monday afternoon, injuring a man inside, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at 3:45 p.m. on Highway 62.
THP said 29-year-old Stephen Petre was driving his Pontiac Sunfire eastbound.
Troopers said Petre lost control while negotiating a curve and ran off the left side of the road.
They said he hit the home, injuring 66-year-old Billy Patton who was inside the living room at the time of the crash.
Patton was flown to UT Medical Center for treatment, and he's expected to be okay.
Petre was cited for the crash.
