KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Law enforcement officers closed an East Knoxville house Tuesday after several complaints were made by neighbors about drug deals at the location.

A judge issued a nuisance injunction earlier in the day for the house at 509 South Harrison Street.

The area is no stranger to nuisance injunctions, which make it illegal for anyone to go onto a property. A business next door, Max's Bar, was closed in 2010 after allegations marijuana was being doled there.

Kevin Geter is accused of selling marijuana out of the house on South Harrison. The 6th District Attorney General's office says undercover drug buys were made there before the injunction was requested.

"They made four purchases so far that were alleged in the petition that on June 28, July 1, July 3, July 8 and there was actually another buy made this afternoon prior to the state coming over here and boarding up the house," said Sean McDermott, with the Knox County District Attorney's Office.

Dana Littlejohn, the home's owner, was also served with a nuisance injunction in 2011 when he ran the Hall of Fame and Games on Magnolia Avenue.

Tuesday's nuisance injunction was the 36th closure by the District Attorney's Office and the Knoxville Police Department.
