Knoxville man sentenced to 40 years for sexual charges involving minor

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville man is facing 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to more than a dozen counts of sexual charges involving a minor.

Harry T. Henry, 54, was arrested in January by the Family Crisis Unit of the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

His arrest was the result of an indictment by a grand jury on 49 counts, including especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, statutory rape by an authority figure, rape, attempted rape, unlawful photographing, and sexual activity involving a minor.

Henry pleaded guilty Wednesday to 13 counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

He was sentenced to 40 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
