KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Animals are uniting in an effort to clean up a local body of water.

Goats are being used to clear invasive weeds on the Williams Creek Urban Forest.

And for protection, two Great Pyrenees dogs are keeping watch over the goats as they go to work.

The Tennessee Clean Water Network is spearheading the effort in conjunction with the City of Knoxville.

The goats arrived at the beginning of July and will stay in place through October as part of a three-year plan to clear the area.
