SEYMOUR (WATE) - Two rescue squad members were released from University of Tennessee Medical Center after being burned Saturday night during a race car accident.

According to the Sevier County Rescue Squad, a crew was on hand at the 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour when one of the race cars wrecked.

Officials say a car flipped on the track and gasoline spilled onto two crew members assisting the driver.

The crew members were taken to UT Medical Center with burns.  Both, a man and woman with the Sevier County Rescue Squad, were later released from UT Medical Center with minor burns, according to Assistant Chief Todd Spence.

The driver has also been discharged from the hospital.
