KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a man that took place Sunday night.

Deauntay Shamar Tate, 22, is facing first degree murder and attempted first degree murder charges.

The charges stem from an incident that happened around 8 p.m. Sunday on Reed Street.

A witness said a group of acquaintances began shooting at each other.

Mark Hanna, 21, was killed. Robert Wade, 21, and Abel Henry, 22, were injured.

Tate was located by police Monday night in a West Knoxville apartment.

He is being held at the Knox County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
