OAK RIDGE (WATE) - Oak Ridge police said an infant was kicked in the head during a domestic dispute.

David Francis and Melissa Shillings are facing aggravated child abuse charges for the incident that happened at a Wainwright Road home on Saturday.

Police say that Shillings struck Francis twice while she was holding the 7-month-old baby.

Then they say Francis kicked Shillings twice, also kicking the infant in the head.

The baby was taken to East Tennessee Children's Hospital for treatment, but the child's condition was unknown on Tuesday night.
