MORRISTOWN (WATE) - Morristown police are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect in an assault incident.

Toribio Vera-Chavez, along with two other men, are accused of assaulting two victims at the Los Caporales restaurant on Buffalo Trail last Wednesday.

Vera-Chavez and the other men used broken beer bottles and mugs to assault the victims, resulting in severe lacerations, according to police.

One victim was taken by LifeStar to University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.

Both victims have since been released from the hospital.

Vera-Chavez drives a black Pontiac G with license plate TN-H8993T.

The vehicle is missing the front bumper and there is damage on all sides of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on the suspect or his vehicle is asked to call Lt. Christian Newman at 423-585-2710.
