JELLICO (WATE) – Jellico is still without a property tax after a Thursday night meeting between city aldermen and Mayor Les Stiers.

Thursday's meeting was the third attempt to reinstate the tax, which was accidentally deleted.  The Board of Mayor and Aldermen couldn't reach a quorum twice last week.

The city's been without a property tax since leaders passed a budget earlier this month for the fiscal year that began on July 1.

The board will hold a workshop to fix the mistake on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
