OAK RIDGE (WATE) - An Oak Ridge woman suspected of trying to burglarize a vehicle Monday ended up hitting the vehicle's owners with her getaway car.

Ashley Page is now charged with aggravated assault and burglary.

Oak Ridge police say Rose was arrested after the incident at the Food City store on Oak Ridge Turnpike.

The victims say they caught Rose in their car and tried to detain her, but she jumped into another vehicle before police could arrive.

She then put that vehicle into reverse and forced the driver's leg down on the gas pedal. The car hit the two people who tried to stop her.

Page is being held in the Anderson County Jail.
