KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A second man has been charged with murder in connection with a July 14 shooting.

Officials with the Knoxville Police Department say Marcus Stanford, Jr. is charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of attempted first degree murder.

Witnesses say a group of acquaintances began shooting at each other on Reed Street.

Mark Hanna, 21, was killed in that shooting. Robert Wade, 21, and Abel Henry, 22, were injured.

KPD officers say they located Stanford at the Valley View Apartments on Valley View Drive around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Stanford was taken into custody without incident.

Deauntay Shamar Tate, 22, was located by police a day after the shooting in a West Knoxville apartment.

Tate is facing first degree murder and attempted first degree murder charges as well.

Tate is being held at the Knox County Jail on a $750,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
