NASHVILLE. (AP) - Two Tennessee men are dead after an early morning crash on Interstate 40 involving a vehicle traveling the wrong way.

Police told WKRN-TV that the wreck was reported around 3 a.m. Saturday near mile marker 212.

Police say 37-year-old Tavares Natt was driving east in the westbound lanes on the interstate when he struck a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Gary Hendrix of Lavergne. Both men died at the scene.

Police say there was no evidence of alcohol or drugs in Natt's vehicle.

Two other vehicles were also hit, but the occupants weren't seriously injured.
