KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Twelve men were arrested Thursday and Friday after a prostitution sting at a West Knox County hotel.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said the sting was in connection with prostitutes offering their services on a website called "Backpage.com."

These men were charged with patronizing prostitution: Floyd Lynn Archer, Lucas Matthew Allmon, Robert Keith McCracken, Adam Joshua Houk, John William Wickstrom, Daniel Ilea, Ashvinkumar Rameshbhai Patel, Robert Gene McKinney, Randall Lee Thornhill, Bradford T. Huffins and Jose Manuel Mendoza.  It was Mendoza's second offense.

Jonathan Peter Smith was charged with patronizing prostitution, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Since October 2012, KCSO has arrested 149 people in prostitution stings connected with that website.

Of the cases that have been to court, either the defendants pleaded guilty or were found guilty.
