ALLARDT (WATE) – Fentress County sheriff's deputies found 587 marijuana plants on Tuesday.

Deputies and the 8th Judicial Drug Task Force went to a house in Allardt.

Sheriff Tony Choate says they found a full-scale pot selling operation, with some of the plants already processed.

The processed marijuana weighed more than 23 pounds, with an estimated street value of $27,600, according to deputies.

The plants had a potential street value of over $1 million.

The case will be presented to the Fentress County Grand Jury.
