Two people arrested for stringing money out of a laundry coin changer

SEVIERVILLE (WATE) – Two people who burglarized a Sevierville laundry have been arrested, according to the Sevier County Sheriff's Department.

On July 24, a man and woman walked into Wash House Coin Laundry and used a stringing method to steal money from the coin changer.

Surveillance cameras caught the incident and deputies released photos to local media.

Someone identified the people in the pictures as 33-year-old Bonnie Gabbard and 38-year-old Curtis Renfro, both of Knoxville.

Gabbard and Curtis were arrested on Friday. They've been transported to the Sevier County jail.
