KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A group of demonstrators gathered Tuesday on a West Knoxville overpass, calling for the impeachment of President Obama.

Demonstrators waved flags and held signs on the Gallaher View overpass along Interstate 40.

One demonstrator pointed to recent scandals such as IRS scrutiny of Tea Party groups, NSA wiretapping in the call for impeachment.

"Benghazi is the big one that they're not telling us the whole truth on it and they're covering it up and hiding it and we're just trying to get it out so people will go look at it for themselves," said demonstrator John Oliver.

The demonstrations are part of a nationwide Overpasses for Impeachment movement. Demonstrators say it's grown over the past three months.
