KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Lady Vols basketball coach Holly Warlick has received a one-year contract extension and a raise that takes her annual salary to $550,000, a spokesperson for the University of Tennessee athletic department confirmed on Wednesday.
Warlick's contract now runs through the 2017 season.
The raise amounts to $65,000.
The Knoxville native and former Lady Vols player took over as head coach after the resignation of Pat Summitt in 2012.
In her first season as head coach, Warlick led the Lady Vols to a 27-win season and a regular season SEC championship.
The Lady Vols reached the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament before ending their season with a loss to Louisville.
