CLINTON (WATE) - A drug investigation leads to an active meth lab and the arrest of several individuals.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, deputies investigated a home along Oliver Springs Highway Wednesday where they discovered a meth making operation.

Seven people are now facing charges of initiation of meth manufacturing, promotion of meth manufacturing and criminal conspiracy.

Two of those suspects, Brittaney Michelle Blankenblicker and Gary Lynn Gregory Goodman, are also being held for outstanding warrants in Campbell County.

Deputies also say Michael Edward Weiss has an extensive arrest record with other prior methamphetamine charges along with numerous felonies including burglary and theft offenses.

All seven suspects are being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility with bonds pending their arraignment.

Investigators were on the scene for about three hours to clear the scene. The residence has also been quarantined.
