SNEEDVILLE (WATE) - A body found Monday in a remote area of Hancock County is linked to the disappearance of Kelly Johnson Lee, sheriff's investigators said Wednesday.

Authorities continue to provide few details about the discovery of the body, but say they have filed second degree murder charges against Lee's estranged husband, Richard W. Lee, Jr., 39, of Russellville, TN.

He is being held in the Hancock County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Lee was reported missing on July 27 when she was last seen at her mother's house in Morristown.

Investigators are still awaiting the results of an autopsy to positively identify the body found Monday in Johnson Cemetery.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
