GREENEVILLE (AP/WATE) - A woman who was missing from Greene County has been found alive in West Virginia.

The Greeneville Sun reported 55-year-old Charlene Morgan-Hankins had gone to a nursing home near Logan, W.Va. to visit a relative.

She disappeared Aug. 7 when she ran out of gas in a remote area. She went to find help and got lost in the woods, family members told WCHS ABC 8 in Charleston, W.Va.

She was badly bitten by bugs, dehydrated, and suffering many cuts and bruises. She was taken to a hospital.
