KNOXVILLE (WATE) – FBI agents are searching for a credit union robber who used a fake bomb on Saturday to get money.

Surveillance video caught the suspect at the ORNL Federal Credit Union on Kingston Pike.

Investigators say a man claimed he had a bomb, showed a note, and demanded money.

He left a box after he fled but authorities say it was a hoax device.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-twenties. He is about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot9- and weighs about 150 to 160 pounds.

Officials say he is slender with dirty blonde hair and unkempt facial hair.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and a camouflage baseball hat.
