Two lanes of Interstate 40 were blocked after a car crashed up a rock wall early Sunday morning.
The wreck was reported shortly before 3 a.m. along I-40 west at mile marker 201, near the exit for Charlotte Pike.

The impact of the crash caused the car to slam into and accelerate up a rock wall on the side of the Interstate.
Nashville's News 2 witnessed a woman being transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
It was not clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
The roadway was shut down for about 30 minutes.
No charges are pending at this time.
